Hi! I'm Miles Braithwaite-Young, your new HSC tutor.
I'm passionate about supporting students to unlock their potential in school through personalised, engaging, one-on-one lessons.
I graduated from Newington College in 2025 and received a 99+ ATAR.
School was really fun for me; I loved playing sports year-round and enjoyed learning, particularly when I could help others to understand certain concepts and areas. This inspired me to offer tutoring to build confidence and academic skills in others.
As a recent HSC graduate, I'm very familiar with the current syllabus, exam structure, and marking criteria across key subjects. This allows me to teach strategies and content which directly translate to exam marks.
My lessons create a supportive and structured learning environment where students ask questions and are motivated to improve.
I place strong emphasis on communication and feedback, regularly checking in with students and providing monthly progress reports.
